All-round carefree package for a delicious organic lemon cake. The pack contains the basic mixture, a pack of powdered sugar for the glaze and a bottle of lemon oil. It only takes five minutes to prepare and the baking time is around an hour.

Description

Use

Preparation: The cake mix includes: 385 g basic mixture for the cake, 100g icing sugar for the glaze and 1 bottle of lemon oil.

Preparation with milk & egg: Just add: 3 eggs, 110 grams of butter and 100 ml milk.

  • Preheat the oven with top and bottom heat at 175 °C (gas cooker stage 3).
  • Please do not bake with circulating air. Pour the contents of the larger white package (basic mixture for the cake) in a bowl.
  • Add 3 eggs, 110 grams of soft butter and 100 ml of milk and about 2/3 of the lemon oil. Process with a hand mixer until a smooth dough emerges.
  • Fill in a greased, tube pan (Ø 26 cm) loaf pan (25 cm) springform pan or (Ø 24 cm). Bake for approx. 60 minutes.
  • For the springform pan, 35 minutes of baking are enough. In uncoated bakeware, the baking time may be extended.
  • Allow to cool for about 15 minutes, only then take the cake out of the mold. Mix the contents of the smaller package (icing sugar for the glaze) with 2 tablespoons warm water (alternatively fresh lemon juice) and the remaining lemon oil to a glaze and spread with a brush on the cake.
Please note: Instead of butter you can also use margarine. Instead of cow's milk, you may use soy drink.

Vegan preparation:

Just add: 150 g margarine and 150 ml of water.

  • Add 150 g melted margarine and 150 ml of lukewarm water and about 2/3 of the lemon oil. Process with a hand mixer until a smooth dough emerges.
  • Fill in a greased, tube pan (Ø 26 cm) loaf pan (25 cm) springform pan or (Ø 24 cm). Bake for approx. 60 minutes.
